The Hungarian Village Association is the interest protecting organization of small villages in order to improve the situation of villages in the decision making at national and county level.
MFSZ stated in its Statute to cooperate with other local government association on domestic and international level. MFSZ has got an efficient interest protecting network with actively involved members. Within the public administration reform MFSZ has got priority to representing the interests of small villages.
In the frame of bench-learning groups/ efficiency network MFSZ will lead the topic: “The future of the small villages within the new local governments system in Hungary”. MFSZ is the professional leader of sharing experiences with Norwegian municipalities with the same experiences and problems; and collecting Best Practices. MFSZ will take part at Steering Committees of the project.
