The Ministry of Interior coordinates affairs related to local government, law and order, immigration, citizenship and spatial planning in settlements.

The Ministry of Interior is led by the Minister of Interior, Sándor Pintér, Dr. and ministers of state and state secretaries lead the various specialist departments:

The Minister of State for Municipal Affairs is András Tállai.

Involvement of the Ministry of Interior into the project has got twofold aim: BM is responsible for coordination of local governmental functioning, which is an important role in WP5, when we would like to create tripartite dialogue on local and on national level in order to improve the cooperation the local government offices, township offices and its public servants, who are represented in the project by MKKSZ. The successful implementation of new public administration structures township is common interests of all these Partners. They are committed to take part in this cooperation with Norwegian Partnership expertise and experiences.

Partner's expected roles in the project:

-          providing participation in different events, working meetings and working group of the project in Hungary or in Norway

-          providing information for local governments and for other governmental bodies

professional cooperation in order to providing public statistical information on different areas of local governments functioning
